Dear Sir:

We are in the process of rewriting procedures for our environmental radiation monitoring program.

To this and it would be very helpful to review procedures from the organizations under the purview of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

These procedures need to include, but not be limited to, those listed on the attached sheet.

Procedures for laboratory measurements would also be helpful.

'We have not compiled an exhaustive list-of all the organizations whose procedures might be helpful.

We have compiled a listing of Nuclear Regulatory Commission facilities whose procedures might be most applicable to our effort.

These are listed below:

0 Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power' Plant

..Humboldt Nuclear Power Plant San 'Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Copies of any other sets.of procedures which you feel appropriate y

would be greatly appreciated.

If any are in magnetically encoded L

form, that would be even better.

We realize that this request will represent a significant effort on your part to fulfill.

We feel that this is necessary in light of the greatly increased incidence of the comparisons of radiologic environmental data between our agencies.

If you have any questions on this

matter, please contact g

Richard W.

McKinley at (916) 739-4055.

Sincerely I
