I The following report highlights the operating experience of Wolf Creek Generating Station for the nonth of October,1989. This report is being i provided pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.8. 1 I

I. StM4ARY OF OPERATItG EXPERIENCE I On October 01, at 1550 hours0.0179 days
0.431 hours
0.00256 weeks
5.89775e-4 months
, reactor power as reduced to 55% to replace a l power supply on "B" Main Feedwater Punp. At 2105 hours0.0244 days
0.585 hours
0.00348 weeks
8.009525e-4 months
reactor power m a i returned to 100%.

On October 17, at 1425 hours0.0165 days
0.396 hours
0.00236 weeks
5.422125e-4 months
, reactor power ma reduced to 30% to replace the power / load unbalance transducer in the turt>ine control cabinet. At 2052 ;

hours reactor power es returned to 100%.

On October 30, at 1429 hours0.0165 days
0.397 hours
0.00236 weeks
5.437345e-4 months
rnactor power as increased 2.2% due to a revised calorimetric sucaiure using measured steam flow versus measured '

feed flow. This as done in response to an apparent feedwater venturi fouling proble.

(

II. MAJOR SAFETIY REEATED MAINTENANCE JCPIVITIES

1. Replaced input relay K129 train "A" in the Solid State Protection Syste (SSPS).
2. Replaced engine driven jacket eter pump nochanical seal on Diesel Generator "A".
3. Replaced 4-way actuator on Feedwater. Isolation Valve AEEV040.
