CDR - HVAC Automatic Air Dampers - Pacific Air DESCRIPTION OF OCCURRENCE:
MP&L reported that the tack weld at the shaft to blade bracket failed when the dampers were ooerated. These dampers are in the vent system for the safeeuard switchgear and battery rooms.
Two dampers are involved.
Generic implications will be determined when more information is available.
