STATEMENT OF CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY WITH RESPECT 'IO SUPPLEMENT TO THE WARREN PETITION

'IO INTERVENE AND THE AMENDED STAMIRIS SUPPLEMENT TO PETITION 'IO INTERVENE, DATED SEPTEMBER 9,1980 Consumers Power Company, the NRC Staff and Intervenors Warren and Stamiris have revised *%e contentions of Intervenors Warren and Stamiris. The NRC Staff has no objections to the revised contentions. Consumsrs Power has the following position with 0

regard to these contentions:

  • Warren Contentions Contentfon 1 - No objection Contention 2 - No objection to the first two sentences. Object to the third and fourth sentences as being outside the scope of the order.

Contention 3 - No objection to the first sentence. Object to the second sentence including reference to circulating water lines as these are not safety related systems or structures.

Stamiris Contentions Contention 1 - Object to as being outside the scope of the order.

Contention 2 - Object to as being outside the scope of the order and lacks specificity 5009260aoR

Contention 2 - Object to es being outsida tha scop 2 of tha cedst in so far as it goes beyond the quality assurance matters specified in the order.
