Dear Dr. Snyder:
Only recently did I learn that the Environmental Impact Statement on the TMI clean-up was released.
As I understand, the public has only until October 6, 1980, to comment on the Statement.
As of yet I have not even been able to get a copy of the EIS to study for myself.
How can I possibly study the report and comment, if I choose to do so, before October 67 Would it not be possible to extend the 45-day comment period to at least 90 days so that we citizens living close to TMI can have enough time to study the EIS and comment?
Please reconsider and allow more time for such'an impor-
- i. ant EIS as the one on Three Mile Island.
