Enclosed please find a letter from Westinghouse Electric Corporation requesting an amendment to export license XR-83 to extend the expira-tion date to December 31, 2013. Due to the 33-year extension request, we would like the views of the Executive Branch as to whether the proposed amendment meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1958 as amended by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
