AGC Building 1200 Westlake North, Suite 700 IN RESPONSE REFER Seattle, WA 98109 TO F0IA-80-344

Dear Mr. Ulin:

This is in further response to your letter dated July 2,1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, records pertaining to 36 categories of information with regard to the Washington Public Power Sup* ply System Nuclear Plant No. 2, Richland, Washington.

~In our init'al response dated July 22, 1980, we provided you with general information as to the existence and the availability of records on the various categories. At that time, we were awaiting a response from NRC's Region V office concerning several outstanding categories.

Subsequent to that letter, information about the availability of Region V records on this plant was relayed to you during the series of telephone conversations between Linda Robinson of my staff and Douglas Elston and Carroll Bryan, III.

In summary, existing Region V records on this plant are available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H Street, Washington, DC, and the LPDR in Richland, Washington.

A copy of the table of contents for Region V Directives (item 2) is being sent directly to you from the Region V office. You may request copies of any Directives in which you are interested directly from the Region V office.

It is our understanding that it is your intention to personally visit the PDR to inspect all the records on this plant which are available in the PDR, and possibly to visit the LPDR in Richland.

At this time, we are placing three documents pertaining to item 28 in the PDR for your inspection and copying. You may obtain access to these documents by requesting folder F01A-80-344 under the name of Ulin.

This completes NRC's action on your request. 'If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call Linda Robinson at (301) 492-8133.
