OFFICE OF INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT BULLETIN 's9-03A - RII:JP0 50-259, -260, -296, -518, -519, -520, -521, -553, -554 - BROWNS FERRY, HARTSVILLE, AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS In response to your April 4, 1980, letter which transmitted OIE Bulletin 79-03A, our investigations for the Browns Ferry, Hartsville, and Phipps Bend Nuclear Plants have revealed that none of the SA-312 or A-312, Type 300 Series fusion welded pipe is in use or planced for use in safety-related systems subject to design stresses greater than 85 percent of the Code allowable stresses.
