REFERENCE:

NRC letter from S. A. Varga to D. L. Aswell dated April 21, 1980

Dear Mr. Schwencer:

The above reference inquired if there are any concrete masonry walls used to support Seismic Category I piping / equipment at Waterford 3.

Our response to this inquiry is that there are no Seismic Category I masonry (concrete block) walls on Waterford 3; therefore, no Seismic Category I piping / equipment supports are attached by any means to any of the block walls in the Nuclear Island structure.
