Dear Mr. Camm:
This is to inform you of our decision with regard to NRC's participation in REX Bravo. Based on review and evaluation of NRC's participation in REX-80 Alpha, a number of significant changes are being made.
While we believe that continued participation in all FEMA drills would be helpful in further development of our National Level Emergency Planning,we are faced with a situation where we must place some limitations on our parti-cipation.
Therefore, we do not intend to participate in the REX-80 Bravo exercise. We do, however. plan to participate in at least one National Level Readiness Exercise each year and will continue to stay abreast of the developments in this area.
