Dear Mr. Ahearn:
In reference to the venting of Krypton gas from Three 1111e Island's disabled reactor 1)
I have heard that some has already been vented.
If so, this is not acting in good faith toward the public.
- 2) Ve are upset that the companies call it just Krypton gas, thereby putting a cleaner face on a rather dirty fact that whatever is vented contains alpha and beta particles which get into our food chain.
3)
I feel convinced tant we, up here in the highly populated Connecticut area, We are in the are just as badly affected by Tall as Pennsylvanians are.
bes terly wind-flow pattern from there.
Our cows and corn etc. have also received Till alpha and beta particles. According to Dr. Sternglass the infant mortality rate went up in July along the coastal area, three months af Ler T311's accident.
4)
We, up here, would like to havs you hold hearings in the greater New York City radius, with two seeks notice ahead, for public response to the venting.
I have been reading about the hearings in Philadelphia and I agree with the response you were getting that no Krypton or anything else should be vented.
Sincerely,
- GkQ'.
