Response to IE Bulletin 80-16

Dear Sir:

This letter is in response to Reference (b) above, concerning the potential misapplication of Rosemount Inc. Model 1151 and 1152 pressure transmitters with either "A" or "D" output codes.

Following a review, it has been determined that Vermont Yankee does not presently use, or plan to use, these transmitters in any system at this facility.

The following information is submitted in response to your request for estimates of manpower expended in the research and subsequent performance of actions associated with this bulletin.

Manpower Requirements Hours Bulletin Response 5 Manhours Corrective Actions Not Applicable The reason that only a minimal manhour expenditure was required to respond to this bulletin is that the required review had already been performed in response to information previously received from Rosemount Inc.

We trust the above supplied information is satisfactory; however, should you desire additional information, please contact us.

Very truly yours, VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER CORPORATION 0h L. H. Heider Vice President 8 00810 0 g0 %
