To inform thd Comission of the subject proposed retransfer.

The NRC consultation period expires August 13.
Discussion:
Attached, for the aovance information of the Comission, is a copy of a request to retransfer US-origin spent fuel from Switzerland to the U.K. for reprecessing.
This requesc was received in IP on July 23.
The staff is preparing its analysis of this case and will forward it to the Commission shortly.
