MOTION Intervenors other than Dow Chemical Company move the Hearing Board to require the Regulatory Staff to answer interroga-tories addressed to it by Intervenors other than Dow Chemical Company and filed today. Within the meaing of 10 C.F.R. 5 2. 720(h) (2) (ii), the answers to interrogatories served upon the Regulatory Staff are necessary to a proper decision in the proceeding, since the questions and answers deal with ir.portant issues required to be analyzed under law and pursuant to the Court of Appeals decision.
Since the Intervenors seek the view; of the Regulatory Staff, these answers are only obtainable from the Regulatory Staff and obviously not from any other source.
Because of the time constraints Intervenors request the Presiding 0,fficer imediately order the Staff to answer these inter-rogatories and that the 14 day period for answers begin to run todsy January 3, 1977, since service is being made upon all parties by mail on this date.
