We believe this inquiry is on the Midland plant since the most recent 1semance of construction permits for snetear poser plants in Northern M1ah4== was D=e==hae 15, 1972 to the ca=====es Feuer Company for their Mid1=ad Flast, Units 1 and 2, meer Midland, Michigan. We respond in the affirmative to this inquiry. These units were reviewed for radia-logical safety and environmental impset by the AEC. prior to issuance of the constructica permits. The radialagf*=1 safety review reemited in a safety Evaluation Report (SEE).that was imened Revember 12, 1970, and a suppf a===tal report that was isoned Jamsay 14, 1972. A copy of \\

these reports, which are em the public record, is enclosed. Our revise of the environmental impact reem1ted in a Final Euvironmental Stae==a-t (FEs) that was isened March 1972. A copy of the FES is also enclosed.
