In Applicant's Memorandum in response to the end-of-September submissions of the Opposing Intervonors and to the twelve Motions of the Saginaw Intervenors dated and served October 23, 1971, at p.

14, we attempted to inform the Board as to the current submissions of Babcock and Wilcox to the Staff on ECCS.

We now have more complete information and wish to correct a slight error in our prior statement.

On October 4, 1971, Babcock and Wilcox filed BAW Topical Report No. 10030, entitled " CRAFT - Description of Mcdel for Equilibrium LOCA Analysis Program."

On October 6, 1971, it filed BAW Topical Report No. 10033, entitled " Decay Heat Peak-ing."

On October 11, 1971, it filed BAW Topical Report No.

10031, entitled "RZFLOOD - Description of Model for Multinode Core Reflood Analysis."

On November 1st, Babcock and Wilcox expects to file BAM Topical Report No. 10034, entitled " Multi-node Analysis of B & W's 2568 Mwt Nuclear Plants'During A Loss-of-Coolant Accident."

The first three reports filed are proprietary reports and, as stated in Applicant's letters to Messrs. Cherry and Like dated October 5 and 6, 1971, Applicant will furnish copies of them to couns 1 for the Sa@inaw and Mapleton Intervenors as soon as they agree to accept them pursuant to the terns of the protective order entered in this proceeding.

Report No. 10034. which will be filed November 1, 1971, is nonproprietary and will be sent to their counsel within a few days thereafter.

As the Board knows, Applicant's Supplemental Environ-mental Report was filed on October 19, 1971.

In view of the foregoing, Applicant fec3s that it would help to expedite the proceeding if a conference, in the nature of a pre-hearing conference, were held in the near future for the purposc of coming to a decision on pending rr.rt^rn and charting the future course of the proceeding.

Accordingly, and we we suggest that the Board schedule such a conference, suggest November 9, 1971 for that purpose.

We understand that Mr. Cherry vill be out of the country until shortly before that date.

, Respectfully, f
