We have been advised that the reduction of fu.ds available for the constructica cf the Mid1tnd Plant has caused a substantial cutback in engineer-ing and construction activities. This reduction, together with similar
' reducticns involving other work Ecchtel 1.ns been performing at its Aan Arbor,
!!ichican, office, will result.in a reduction of persennel and a transfer of certain functicns to Ecchtel's home office in San Francisco. However, vc are advised that these reductions and chances.will have no adverse $npact en the quality asturance effcrts set forth in Bechtel's testimony in the Midland Shou Cause Preccciing.
