As you requested, I am returning this letter to you.

Mr. Brown's letter refers to two Consumers Power Co npany nuclear The South power facilities for generating electri power in Michigan.The Atomic Energy Haven plant he refers to is the Palisades Plant. Commission (AEC) is 1967 following a full public hearing. Upon completion of construction, The other facility is we issued an operating license in October 1972.

The plant has operated safely, in accordance with the operating restrictions we have imposed.
