Along with a nine-page letter to the Chairman dated September 30, 's71, the Saginaw intervenors served a series of thirteen motions.

In view of the extensiveness of these motions, we have asked Mr. Cherry if he would agree'to an extension of our time to answer them to October 23, 1971.

He has agreed to do so.

We therefore request the Board's approval of this stipulated extension, pursuant to 10 CFR S2.711.

We enclose a short form order for the convenience of the Chairman, should he desire to indicate the Board's approval by formal order.
