i RESOLUTION MIDLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT UNITS 1 6 2 50, WHEREAS, The International Union of District Allied and Technical Workers of the United States and Ca has formally endorsed the utilization of Nuclear Energy in industry, and WHEREAS, resulting from Research by our Scientists and Research and Development conducted by Government and Industr nuclear powered generators have been perfected to produce electrical' energy, and WHEREAS, the electrical energy needs have been doubling every ten years and future energy requirements for home and industry are expected to continue to grow at this rate, and WHEREAS, there is planned a nucicar powered electric generating plant for the Midland, Michigan area which is intend to increase the electric power potential to assure an adequate supply for the growing domestic and industrial needs and to enhance job opportunities in the area, l
