Dear Mr. Schlesinger:

I would'like to bring to your attention the wide-spread local support for the proposed Nuclear Power Plant to.be located at Midland, Michigan. I feel that this is a very importcnt issue and deserves close attention.

As you know, the construction of such a plant could benefit the community in a number of ways:

employment opportunities technological advancement -

stronger and more reliable power. source These factors certainly support the plan and I would appreciate any consideration you could give to this natter. The community seems to be behind this pro-ject and I think wa should do our utmost to famili-arine ourselves with this situation.
