[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2015-0039 Jennifer Borges, I am writing to urge you to deny Westinghouse's early application for a 40 year license renewal.
This facilitity has a long history of spills and accidents, which even the NRC's own reports suggest will continue if they are given a new license. There's also no reason to approve this license now, because the current license doesnt expire until 2027.
The NRC should deny this early renewal application and conduct a more detailed environmental impact statement. You should also require Westinghouse to go at least one full year without an accident or spill before they are allowed to re-apply.
Finally, given the Thanksgiving holiday I would like to request that you extend this comment period so that more impacted residents have a chance to comment. Thank you.
