Reference:

Letter from T. M. Anderson to H. R. Denton dated June 25, 1980 (NS-TMA-2269)

The steam line and feedwater line break analyses for the Sequoyah Nuclear-Plant were evaluated with the MARVEL computer program described in WCAP-7909 and -8822. At NRC's request, Westinghouse provided a more detailed model and confirmatory analyses in WCAP-9226, -9230, and -9236 to show that the MARVEL code is conservative. In the referenced letter, Westinghouse provided a schedule to respond to NRC's questions on the confirmatory WCAP information.

TVA will provide plant specific information for input to an NRC audit analysis, if requested.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY
