The Naval Facilities Engineering Command no longer has a need for Certificates of Compliance (COC) 5071, 5830 end 6786.
The radicisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) covered by these Certificates have been transferred to other Navy commands as follows:

Naval Energy and Environmental Support Activity URIPS-P1 5071 04-07316-03 SNAP-21 5830 04-07316-03 Naval Support Force Antarctica URIPS-P1 5071 04-19167-01 SNAP-21 5830 04-19167-01 URIPS-8 6786 04-19167-01 As you discussed with Lieutenant Bob Evans of the Naval Support Force Antarctica (NSFA) on 3 June 1980, it is requested that Certificates 5071, 5830 and 6786 be renewed and reissued to NSFA and that the Naval Energy and Environmental Support Activity, formerly the Naval Nuclear Power Unit, be registered as a user of Certificates 5071 and 5830.
The complete addresses of these commands are:
Officer in Charge Commander Naval Energy and Environmental U. S. Naval Support Force Support Activity Antarctica Radiological Affairs Support FPO San Francisco 96601 Office Port Hueneme, CA 93043 The Officer in Charge of the Naval Energy and Environmental Support Activity and the Commander of the Naval Support Force Antarctica concur in this request.
