Dear Mr. Schwencer:
Attached are five (5) copies of a report titled "Carparisen of Near-Site Quarry Blast Characteristics to the Seismic Design at Limerick Generating Station". 'Ihis report was requested at a meeting on Decerber 18, 1979, by representatives of the NBC.
The conclusion of the report states that the response spectra developed frcm records of recent quarry blasts are essentially envelcped at critical frequencies by the OBE design spectra for critical structures.
The sutmittal of this report carpletes all of the ccmnitments made by us at the D ez 18, 1979 meeting with NRC representatives.
