Region I Meeting, June 17, 1980 This refers to the meeting, held at your request, with Region I personnel on June 17,1980 at the Region I office.
The attendees were Mr. P. Rosenthal of your staff and Messrs. G. H. Smith, H. W. Crocker, R. Bores, I. Cohen, P. Clemons and J. Rcth of this office.
The subject reviewed during this meeting is included in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting Summary that is enclosed with this latter.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and provided additional information regarding your anticipated actions relative to the disposal of radioactive contaminated material which was recently found in a remote area of your property.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions concerning this matter, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
