- Attached for your review are copies of a July 7,1980 application and a copy
- of the' proposed license for the export of 90,800 kilograms of depleted uranium
.to Eldorado Nuclear Limited. The:1naterial, in the form of solid scrap, is - - --
being returned to Canada as remelt feed for casting into ingots and recycle. ---
The material will be processed ultimately as amunition for the U.S. AireForce weapons systems programs.
Executive Branch views are not required for the proposed export as the license request falls within the categories of materials listed in 10 CFR 110.41(d-)
-which are not normally reviewed by the Executive Branch; and Comissioner review is no longer required for this type of export under revised 10 CFR Part 110 regulations.

of a program that involves material covered by license XU08342. Unless we are advised by your office within 7 working days from the date of this memorandum, of any particular issues which may require further analyses, it is IP's intention to issue a license for the proposed export.
