SUBJECT:
CALVERT CLIFFS UNITS 1 & 2 PROPOSED ADDITION OF A THIRD 500k' TRANSMISSION LINE The existing Calvert Cliffs offsite pcwer configuration which includes two 500kv and one 69ky transmission lines already meets the requirements of GDC-17. The addition of a third 500kv transnission line would exceed these requirements.
Therefore, there is no need for PSB to review this proposed addition as lo.ng as the line terminates in the switchyard, and the circuits between the switchyard and the plant remain uncha.nged.
This was verified-by telecon with Baltimore Gas and Electric on June 20, 1980. Therefore,
the meeting scheduled for July 15, 1980 for PSS/ licensee discussion of the subject proposed line should be cancelled.
