Dear Dr. Morris:

Your letter of July 14,19h requested further information concerning the perfomance of smergency core cooling systems following a loss of coolant accident in order to assist the Division of Esector Licensing in evaluation of the nuclear steam supply systems proposed in tMs applicatim.

Consumers Power Capany hereby incorporates as part of our license application Babcock & Wilcox's Topical Report BAW-LOO 34, "Multinode Analysis of 38dt's 2568 MWt Nuclear Plants During a Ioss of Coolant Accident." ' Ibis report, which was transmitted to you on October 29,19'/1, supplesients and extends the multinode evaluation of the loss of coolant accidents previously presented in BAW-loo 15 and BAW-10015, Supplanant 1, which we also hereby incorponte as part of our licanas application.

BAN-loo 34 presents all of the information requested in your July lhth letter except infornation concerning any changes to the Toch-nical 3;melfict.; ions for the plant that might have been required as a result of the analyses. Although vs were not required to submit Tech-nical Specifications as part of our application for a construction pemit, the Prs 14mi y Safety Analysis Report oontains a fortant for proposed technical specificaticum wLich does D6t chang as a result of these an-alyses.

It may also be noted that no equipment changes are required as a result of the information in BAW-10034.
