POST HEARING ORDER A.

Part A reflects the decisions announced at the Meeting of Counsel held on June 26, 1972, and decisions by I

the Board reserved at that Meeting.

I 1.

On or before July 10, 1972, the Staff shall serve and file their final responses to questions by Dr. Goodman on transportation accidents, phosphorus removal and chlorine releases.

2.

On or before July 10, 1972, the Applicant shall serve and file its calculations with respect to heat balances in the event that the delivery of' process steam to Dow is eliminated, and_the Applicant's rebuttal testimony, if any, to the testimony of Dr.' Holcomb.

3.

Applicant shall serve and file its proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law on or before August 15, 1972.

The Board examined the transcript insofar as it pertains to the admission of Staff Exhibit 8 (the. Staff's Supplementary Safety Evaluation) and finds that the Chair ordered the document received into evidence for all purposes and not

only for the limited purposes referred to by Mr. Kartalia at T.

7143-4.

In any event, since the question of compliance with interim acceptance criteria for Emergency Core Cooling Systems is not raised in the proceeding, the

i admission for all purposes does not prejudice any party.

The Mapleton Intervenor's motion to postpone the submission of findings of fact and c6n-

clusions of law pending completion of the National Emergency Core Cooling Systems hearings.-
