This letter is to infom you that the Babcock and Wilcox Company has made the following detemination in regard to its Topical Reperts BAW-10030, BAW-10031 and BAW-10033:
"We have weighed the desirability of protecting a comercially competitive position in the area of emergency core cooling analyses against the interest in this subject evidenced by outside organizations and the general public. We have concluded that the industry objectives can better be achieved by pro-viding infomation which all interested parties can review to understand the bases for analyses...."
They have therefore removed the proprietary label frce these Topical Reports so that the information contained therein may be freely evaluated. I have furnished copies of these formerly proprietary Topical Reports to Mr. Like and have advised Mr. Cherry that he is no longer bound by the proprietary agreement that he entered into 8007140[/9
