SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - NRC-0IE REGION II LETTER RII:LDZ 50-327/80-14 AND 50-328/80 INSPECTION REPORT - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON DEFICIENCY The subject letter dated May 1,1980, cited TVA with deficiency 50-327/
80-14-01 and 50-328/80-08-01 on preservice and inservice inspection requirements. A-response to this deficiency was submitted on Fby 23, 1980.
In a telephone conversation on May 30, 1980, L. D. Zajac of your staff requested the following additional information.
All of Section 3 of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Surveillance Instructions 114 has been reviewed for compliance to Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
To prevent recurrence of this problem, we rein-structed our employees to include all Section XI requirements 1n preparing future surveillance instructions.
