- Prosanta, NuScale has determined that we can make the change that the NRC requested. The DI IP will be modified to add the text shown in red below.
This IP does not apply to maintenance or refueling activities, activities completed by craft/technical personnel (i.e., mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation and control (I&C), health physics, chemistry, engineering, or information technology), or activities associated with the technical support center, emergency operations facility, operations support center, or any other emergency response facilities (see Reference 9.2.1) with the exception of Reactor Building crane operation.
Please have the NRC Staff confirm that the modification will resolve the issue.

- Nadja, The staff does not think PMP needs to be revised/ updated as a result of our discussed potential/proposed changes in the DI IP. In general and as always, NuScale will need to verify any cross references and update accordingly and as necessary.
