Pu suant to questions asked by Mr. Cherry on cross-examination of Dr. Bernsen (Tr. 4268, h296, et seq.), sutnitted herewith is testi-mony of Dr. Bernsen regarding specific changes in a section of Bechtel's present Field Inspection Manual (S.I. Exhibit 28) and its Palisades QA/QC Manual (S.I. Exhibit 30) and regarding procedures contained in present manuals which are intended to prevent, identify and correct problems of the type alleged to have occurred at the Palisades Plant.
In addition Dr. Bemsen's testimony responds to Dr. Goodman's question (Tr. 2914-15) as to the develoInent of Bechtel's CA program since 1967 and to Chairman Murphy's question (Tr. 4532-33) about super-vision of personnel in its QA progra=s. Also attached are statements frcn Consuners Power as to the development of its engineering depart-ment QA progre= and its construction QA program since 1%7.
