Consumers Power Company has approved the Babcock & Wilcox Field Change Authorization to accomplish the modifications necessary to correct the RCIH design deficiency.

General Electric is making arrangements to implement the field change. It is expected that work will begin by the middle of October 1978 with completion to G ov motor installation presently scheduled for late 1980. If any significant developments occur, we vill inform you of them.
