2468 On February 23, 1976, Mr R. C. DeYoung transmitted guidance for our consideration in filing information with the NRC staff concerning the requirements of 1.pendix I to 10CFR50. Attached per your request are forty copies of the Midland hoj et Appendix I Submittal. The Submittal provides all of the information identified in Enclosures 1 and 2 of the above referenced letter with the exception of data based on actual plant operation (Item 5 of Enclos'tre 1 and Item 9 of Enclosure 2).
The information provided in this submittal will be updated in the FSAR to include additional on-site meteorology, current site-specific characteristics and detailed final system designs. The Midland FSAR is scheduled to be submitted in September 1977.
We are also in receipt of your letter dated May 10, 1976 which transmitted Draft Model Technical Specifications for Pressurized Water Reactors concerning radio-active effluents. As noted in your letter these draft specifications are still under internal NRC review and are subject to further changes.
In view of this it is our intention, as discussed in our letter of April 2, 1976, to address Technical Specifications in the Midland FSAR which is scheduled for submittal in September 1977.
