5058 Attached is a copy of a letter we received from Mr Robert D Goodenough, Mayor of the City of Midland, Michigan, dated March 6, 1978, requesting that he be removed from the distribution list for the Midland Plant FSAR and its amendments.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.101 and the Service List attached to Mr S A Varga's November 30, 1977 letter to us, we are required to provide Mr Goodenough with copies of all amendments to the Company's application for construction permits and operating licenses for the Midland Plant.
Will you please take the necessary action so that we can honor Mayor Goodenough's request.
We understand that in order to comply with your regulations we vill have to con-tinue to send copies of information to him until you release us from doing so.

Dow Memorial Library, a department of the City of Midland, serves as a depository and Public Document Room for all material from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission relating to Consumers Power's Midland Plant, it is my belief that it is unnecessary for the Mayor of the City of Midland to re-ceive duplicated materials. I hereby request that I not receive a copy of the final Safety Analysis Report or.ny of its parts or amendments.
