Dear Mr. Keppler:
Your letter of August 2,1974 requested that a determina-tion be made whether any ITE Molded Case Circuit Breakers, type HE-3, identified in Directorate of Regulatory Operations Bulletin 74 8, have been installed or scheduled to be installed in the ~ Midland Plant.
Please be advised that none of these circuit breakers have been in-stalled or purchased for the Midland Plant, hence no corrective action is necessary.
Concerning the possible future installation of these circuit breakers, it is possible that similar breakers may be purchased or provided as part of other equipment packages. We will assure that all such breakers will be of the Modified HE-3 type which eliminate the deficiency.
