DPR-54 to Sacramento Itunicipal Utility District authorizing operation of the Rancho Seco fluclear Generating Station at steady state reactor core power levels not in excess of 2772 megawatts thermal.

However the Technical Specifications attached to the operating license will temporarily limit core power to levels not exceeding 2568 megawatts thermal pending confirmation of anticipated operating per-formance. The Rancho Seco !!uclear Generating Station is a pressurized water nuclear reactor located at the licensee's site in Sacramento County, California.

The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comnission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license.

The application for the license ccmplies with the standards and requirements of the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations.

The license is effective as of its date of issuance and shall expire on October 11, 2008.

DPR-54 complete with Technical Specifications (Appendices "A" and "B"); (2) the report of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, dated September ll,1973; (3) the Directorate of Licensing's Safety Evaluation dated June 8,1973; (4) the Final Safety Analysis Report and amendments thereto; (5) the gos<oF-7
