Dear Mr. Boone:
The Atomic Energy Comission has issued Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-56 to Sacramento Municipal Utility District for the construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor designated as the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1 on the licensee's site in the southeast nortion of Sacramento County, Cclifornia.
A copy of the construction permit is ericlosed together with a related notice which has been transmitted to the Office of the rederal Register for filing and publication.
The permit han been issued pursuant to the Initial Decision of the Atomic Safety cnd Licencing Leard, dated October 10, 1966. A copy of the decision is also enclosed.
