date of issuance. Tne facility is a cressurized-water reactor ifnich was licensed on August 16, 1974, for operation at power levels not in excess i

of 2772 9!t. However, the Technical Specifications ettached to the operating license te porarily limited operation at po? er levels not in

'Ihe ameniT.ent revises the Technical Specifications to delete the temporary limitation, thus authorizing operation of Pancho Seco, Unit 1, at the rated po.rer of 2772 D!t. Included in this revision are revised flux / imbalance / flow limiting safety syste.n settings and revised limiting conditions of operation related to regulating rod positioning, rod inse; tion limits, and core imbalance.

The application for the amen 1nent complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Co=ission's rules and regulations. 'Ihe Comission has made appropriate G
