We realize the great need for electricity, but is the Atomic Energy Commission and the electricial companies joprodizing the lives of the people of the United States and the wo:1d with radio-activo pollutants?
The Davis Besse nuclear plant, 30 miles north of our town, is now in the process of construction. The plant is now waiting for a pormit to continue. We don't balieve people are being

Large nuclear plants that emit radiation can causo genetic mutations, leukemia, cancer of thyroid and other b horribio consequences of which we are unawaro.
We once thought DDT was very beneficial but we are now realizing the staggering implications that are just now, after 20 years, being revealed.
J A vast amount of property has been purchased by an electric 7
company close to Sandusky Bay. It doesn't take a genius to figuro out the fact that ANorHER nuclear plant will bo built in that area. Is it in the best interests of the people, to eventually havo Lake Erio surrounding by these producers of radio-activity?

We know it is pretty difficult to stop BIG DISNESS and PROGRESS. so I urge you to support any legislation which will force these companies i
to use all their skill and techrical knowledge to make them completely safo,before issuing permits. Otherwise, we may destroy ourselves.
