Dear Sir:

As I am sure the Commission / aware, the recently constructed Davis-Besse Nuclear Powery' ant at Port Clinton has recently been shut down for "at least two weeks" as result of an alleged malfunction of an electromagnetic pressure relief valve in the primary reactor loop.

It is the concern of our environmental action group, The Firelands Coalition for Safe Energy, that the public receive a full ~ and accurate account of the incident as quickly as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission can prepare such a document.

If our information is correct, the Commission has already dispatched an inspector from its Glen Ellyn, Ill., regional office.

I trust that a copy of the full Commission investigatory report will be released to both the public and the area, as well as national, news media.

As a designated spokesperson of the Firelands Coalition, I request that a copy of the report be sent to the Coalition c/o my home address; Thank you for your interest in this matter.

Sincerely, Wm..Yfh
