The Division of Reactor Licensing has prepared a safety evalua-tion (copies enclosed) relating to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station which The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company propose to construct and operats on the applicants' site on the southwestern shore of Laka Erie, in Ottawa County, Ohio.
A public hearing to consider the application for a construction permit will be held on December 8,1970, in Port Clinton, Ohio.
Two copies of the notice of hearing are also enclosed.
