This letter is submitted as a Final Report regarding the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 reactor vessel surveillance specimen capsule holder deficiency which was reported by my Interim Report letter of May 7, 1976.
The attached two page report entitled " Report on Surveillance Specimen Capsule Holder Tube" dated August 3, 1976 includes a description of the deficiency, an evaluation of the safety implications and the corrective action which has been taken.
