Containment Systers Branch Instrunentation and Control Systems Granch Review Status: Complete Description of Review: SER Supolement Pursuant to the requirements of the Comission's reculations,10 CFR 50.a6, the applicant incorporated the Babcock & Wilcox topical recort, BAW-10105, into his a::p11 cation by refemnce to comoly with the ECCS performance analysis requiretrent. The analyses are based on the Babcock ' W41cox ECCS evaluation model which the 'lRC staff had nreviously reviewed and concluded was in conformance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix X (Ref.1). Later reviews with regard to a return to nucleate boiline after critical heat flux conditions have been reached were resolved. Also, a staff review of B&W's oroposed steam cooling model remains to be documented. The staff reviewed letters from the apolicant (Fefs. 8, 9,12-17, 21, 22) and our findings are delineated in the enclosed draft SER.
In addition, final acceptance of Section 2.0 of this sucolement is contingent upon a favorable response from ICSB to our electrical review request (see ltr. from G. Mazetis to T. Ippolito dated April 8,1976).
