I a:a forwarding for your infornation and use one copy each of Amendment Nos. 8, 9 and 10 to the facility license application for the proposed ravis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
A:nendments 8 and 9 both consist of revised pages for the Prelini-nary Safety Analysis Report,.bsendment 3 to reflect changes necessitated by the applicants' plans to use a closed cycle cooling tower system with the facility, and Amendment 9 to reflect a change in the pipe protection criteria. Amendment 10 contains updated financial data and includes revised esti:aated construction cost figures.
I asa also enclosing a copy of a report to the Cec: mission from the Advisory Couaittese on Reactor Safeguards, dated August 20, 1970. This report relatos to the Committee's review of the application filed by The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illu:minating Company for a pernit to construct the ravis-3 esse Nucicar Power Station on the applicants' site on the south-west shore of Lake Erie, in Ottava County, Chio.
