The Atomic Energy Comission has recently granted an exemption from the provisions of Section 50.10(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Cc= mission's regulations to permit the perfor=ance of certain construction work at the site of the Davis-desse Nucicar Power Station prior to the issuance of a construction permit. A cony of the Cc=nission's letter of September 10, 1970 granting the exemption is enclosed.
Copies of The Toledo Edison Company's request for the exenption, dated June 4,1970, and supplenental letters of July 24 and August 12, 1970, providing supporting data are also enclosed.
