STANDARD 19900, SECTION 4.S.ll FOR DAVIS BESSE, m!IT 1 As you know, a part of tha condition to Paragranh 2C3(") to operating license NPF-3 for Davis Sesse, Unit 1 requires that within four (4) nonths fron issuance of the operating license. Toledo Edison Concany shall prov'de acceptable noise test procedures in accordance with Mil. Standard 19900 Section 4.6.11 (or equivalent) for tests to he conducted on the non-Class IE circuits that intarface with the Reactor Protection Systen, in order to satisfy the objectives of Section 4.5 of IEEE Standard 279-1968.
By letter (Sarial No. 282) dated May 25, 1977, the apolicant has submitted their noise test procedures for meeting the conditions as stated above.
We request that you review the applicant's sutnittal at this tim.e in order that we may verify the acceptability of the applicant's submittal for the above stipulated licensing conditions. Ne request that the revieu he ccmpleted no later than June 18, 1977. This schedule date will allow us to ask additional questions, if required; allow the applicant to medite contractural requirements required for conducting the noise tests; and allow us to verify in an approcriate amendnent to the license that the conditions required to be met within the four months from issuance of the operating license have been met (August 22,1977).
