Davis-Besse Unit No. 1 SU?HARY OF PEETING HELD CN SEPTEVBER 10, 1976 TO DISCUSS ENVIR0!PENTAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (ETS)
On September 10, 1976, representatives of Toledo Edison Cocpany get with the NRC staff to discuss staff coments en revision 2 to applicant's proposed envircrr, ental technical specifications.
A list of attendees is enclosed.
Significant points discussed are sumarized below:
1.
pH limits. It was agreed that corrective action to be taken in case a limit is exceeded will be specified in the plant precedures raanval.
2.
i'onradiological surveillance. Operational monitoring will comence with comercial operation of the plant.
3.
Chlorine. The ETS will call for a chicrine renitoring program in sectTon 3 and a chlorine bicassay study in section 4.
The ETS will contain no specific limiting condition for operation at this tine.
4.
Other chemicals. The specificaticn will remain as it is.
5.
Fish eggs and larvae entrainment. Routine night sampling will not be specified. A letter from Toledo Edison Capany will comit to a limited special study to compare day and night samples.

Imoingement study. For each study phase, a decision criterion will be developed by the end of the phase.
